This is an 80 unit coursework postgraduate program completed full-time over one year or part-time equivalent. It is offered by distance learning online with compulsory attendance at a three-day residential workshop. In exceptional circumstances, attendance at the workshop may be via videolink.The program aims to provide graduates with the knowledge to deliver the most up-to-date, evidence-based clinical practice to injured patients within their scope of practice. Students will gain a comprehensive and critical understanding of the pathophysiology, aetiology, and outcomes and management of trauma medicine. A focus on research methodology will provide an opportunity for candidates to engage in traumatology research.
