This course is designed to facilitate the development of disciplinary knowledge in the area of language acquisition, as well as the area of teaching English to speakers of other languages. Students will investigate classroom issues related to TESOL and critique language teaching methodologies. Students also identify research trends in the field of teaching English to speakers of other languages.
